Friday 27th May 2017: Belladrum Potting Shed previews, Guitar Pull at Hootenanny, Church St. Inverness with Dylan Tierney and Susannah Wolfe. From 7:30 p.m. event info here:

Wednesday 3rd May: Tradfest event at the National Library of Scotland with the great singer/songwriter Karine Polwart and special guest Kirsty Law. Song and slam poetry brings together the Scots tongue from traditional roots to its contemporary voice. Event info here:

Monday 27th March: Headlining at Last Ever Monday at Rio, Rio Cafe, Partick. Due to the cafe closing, Glasgow’s legendary poetry event is coming to an end (though not entirely) after ten successful years which has inspired and encouraged some of Scotland’s best performance work of recent times.  From April 2015 Last Monday will reconvene at Waterstone’s (Wee Rocks!) bookshop, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.

21st Dec. 2016 at 13:30: The Spirit of Invergordon. BBC Radio Scotland; Writing and presenting a new half hour documentary, produced by Louise Yeoman for BBC Radio Scotland. The programme  tells the story of the mutiny of the Royal Navy’s Atlantic Fleet at Invergordon in 1931, tracing the effects of its aftermath through personal family stories and the emergence of new MI5 files relating to the incident.

Friday evening 2nd December 2016 at 7:30 pm: Songs From A Jar. Launch of debut CD of 10 new songs at La Tortilla Asesina, Castle Street, Inverness. Some live songs from the disc, demo of CD and invited songs from the floor. See more on Songs From A Jar Here. And Facebook event page HERE

Thursday 1st December 2106. Wee Windaes website launch with the National Library of Scotland. Wee Windaes bears the fruits of over a year’s researches into the collections at the National Library to chart the continuum of the Scots language, in poems, plays, novels, ballads, folktales, street songs and more. Wee Windaes will continue to be constructed until September 2017 and will provide interpretative texts, education resources, audio samples, images, embedded films from the NLS Moving Image archive as well as digitised books and manuscripts, many of which have never been seen in digitised form.
